Future Educators of America

The Mississippi State University Future Educators Association is a student organization open to all students enrolled in the College of Education. The MSU chapter is affiliated by chartered membership with the international Future Educators Association. Students on the Starkville campus may join yearly. The mission of the organization is to support opportunities in the areas of service, outreach, information, and recruiting of future teachers. The Mississippi State chapter of FEA has over 150 members in all majors of the College of Education. Student officers plan and organize meetings and activities.

The MSU FEA chapter participates in the internationally FEA sponsored activity "Read for the Record" in the fall semester in which members read to local school children. A student teacher intern/new teacher panel session is conducted yearly to assist members with issues and questions concerning the real world of teaching from current members and recent graduates. Members in FEA assist with recruiting students to the College of Education by speaking to invited high school FEA chapters that visit the Starkville campus. The year ends with a reception for teacher education graduates sponsored by the MSU FEA chapter. We welcome all students to join the MSU FEA chapter to network with students majoring in education at Mississippi State!
